ZTE resolves to be an enabler in Thailand's Digital Transformation

ZTE Corporation, a world-leading ICT solutions provider, was in-sync with the exhibition theme "Digital Transformation Thailand" with the topic of “Digital Thailand-BIG BANG” 2017. Specifically, it exemplified the notion "Enabler of Digital Transformation" by demonstrating its smart city, Digital broadband and smart solutions in education and health.

It's been 15 years since ZTE first entered Thailand, and with the long term strategic partnership with major operator of Thailand such as AIS, True, TOT and CAT, ZTE deeply participated in the Digital Transformation by providing reliable advanced telecommunication solutions.

Ways to Digital Transformation in Thailand

ZTE visualized the process of smart city data collection, access, transmission, storage, and analysis, demonstrating how a city can work like a human body. According to ZTE experts, Big Data acts as the brain of the smart city while IoT sensors (for example, cameras) are the nerve endings. Building visualisation and granular networks by leveraging 5G and IoT technologies plays a significant role in making a city smarter.

The ZTE-developed urban operation centre, consisting of a cloud computing centre and two platforms, implements data sharing, exchange, mining, and analysis for the entire city, and distributes the required data to the authorities or citizens through web pages and applications. Among ZTE's smart city projects, applications such as smart transportation, smart tourism, smart street, and smart government have received positive recognition among citizens and constituted the main success cases that ZTE demonstrated to the audience at BIG BANG 2017.

In addition to public-oriented intelligent services, ZTE has tailored an adaptive safety operation centre for the authorities by using the police big data and video analysis functions to serve the following purposes:

- Improving case efficiency
- Enhancing emergency prediction capabilities
- Deducing safety trends and probability
- Issuing warnings against latent risks

In this way, the city administration model is switched from passive reaction to proactive prevention. And meanwhile it could help usher the country's economy into new Digital economy.

Ultra-broadband and cloudification helps boost digital transformation

With the expedited application of ultra-broadband technologies characterised by high bandwidth and low latency, ZTE predicts the ever-presence of IoE, intelligence, virtuality, cloudified services, and prevalent openness and sharing in the forthcoming years.

ZTE's advanced ICT solutions have been deployed into different industries such as National broadband network, Smart Grid and Public Safety in order to optimise Digital Broadband development in Thailand.

ZTE resolves to be an enabler in digital transformation. With its immense expertise and experience in the Digital broadband, and by cooperating with partners, we plan to bring more advanced ICT solutions in different industries such as Power, Rail and public safety, building a robust and reliable network to boost Thailand's rapid digital transformation.
