Pet Fair South East Asia to host the global pet industry at BITEC from October 25-27

Bangkok will welcome back the key players of the global pet industry from October 25-27 at Pet Fair South East Asia 2023 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre. With companies from 40 countries confirmed as exhibitors on the show floor and 10,000 trade visitors from 70 countries expected to attend the second edition of Pet Fair South East Asia, Bangkok will once again become the place to be for international pet industry stakeholders.

Organised at BITEC Bangkok Pet Fair South East Asia provides the international pet industry with a fully business-to-business Partnership Hub for Distribution, Retail, and Sourcing. Following the successful inaugural edition in 2022, which saw trade visitors from 60 countries in attendance, the 2023 edition, already confirmed to double in size, is now aiming for new heights.

Exhibiting Companies from 40 countries

As of mid-September, companies from over 40 countries have been confirmed as exhibitors on the show floor. The largest exhibitor group consists of pet food companies (29%), followed by pet snacks companies (21%), pet healthcare companies (12%), pet hygiene companies (10%), and pet accessory companies (9%). Additionally, leading pet food ingredient companies will showcase a wide range of solutions and raw materials. The organisers are pleased to announce a fantastic international-to-local exhibitor ratio, with 32% of exhibiting companies coming from Thailand and 68% from abroad. The largest international exhibitor group hails from Korea (14% of all exhibitors), followed by China (13%), India (5%), USA (5%), and Japan (4%). The show will feature dedicated country pavilions from various markets including China, Taiwan, USA, and Canada. Trade visitors to the show will have the opportunity to meet a wide range of international exhibitors showcasing a diverse array of product categories.

Early Visitor Registrations from 60 countries

As of mid-September, pet industry stakeholders from 55 different countries have pre-registered for the show. The largest visitor group comprises Importers/Distributors (35.7%), followed by brand owners seeking new private label partnerships (15.7%), Wholesalers (11.6%), Retailers (11.4%), and Veterinarians (7%). Pre-registered trade visitors will be able to participate in a comprehensive online matchmaking program, enabling them to connect with brands and suppliers in which they are already interested prior to the show.

The organisers of Pet Fair South East Asia are inviting all Thai pet industry stakeholders (including. distributors, traders, pet shop owners, online retailers, pet hospitals, veterinarians, e-commerce entrepreneurs, and everyone else interested in the pet industry) to attend the show from October 25-27.
