Bangkok Mass Transit System Plc is considering installing barriers at all BTS Skytrain stations to prevent commuters falling onto rail tracks.

The company made the announcement after Channel 3 SD news anchor Warunrat Kalphan fainted and fell onto the tracks at Mor Chit station early yesterday morning.
She was helped up by BTS security guards and passengers before a train pulled into the station, and escaped with minor leg injuries.
Company chairman Anat Arbhabhirama praised BTS security guards for swiftly pressing an emergency stop button to alert incoming trains before rushing down onto the tracks to help Warunrat.
Mr Anat said the news anchor told BTS staff that she was fine and just needed a short rest.
However the staff took her to a nursing facility at the station, where she could wait for her relatives to come and pick her up.
Warunrat's family came to collect her and took her to hospital for a check-up, he said.
Mr Anat said Mor Chit station is already in line to get new barriers between train platforms and tracks, pending the construction of the BTS extension due to be carried out shortly.
Passenger barriers have already been installed at nine stations as part of a pilot project.
The stations are Siam, Asok, On Nut, Phaya Thai, Victory Monument, Sala Daeng, Chidlom, Phrom Phong and Chong Nonsi.
The company is still testing the system used to control the barriers and will consider installing barriers at all stations in future, Mr Anat said.
