PTT and Bangchak Petroleum announced on Monday they will cut prices of petrol and all types of gasohol, except E85, by two baht a litre and diesel by one baht a litre, effective at midnight.
The E85 price will be cut by 0.20 baht a litre.
Starting tomorrow morning, the new retail prices at PTT and Bangchak outlets will be 37.36 baht a litre for petrol 95, 30.3 baht for gasohol 95, 28.28 baht for gasohol 91, 26.98 baht for gasohol E20, 22.48 baht for gasohol E85 and 26.89 baht for diesel.
The announcement came after the National Energy Policy Council meeting chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha resolved to reduce Oil Fund levies on petrol by two baht a litre and diesel by one baht a litre, starting on Jan 16.
