The junta's chief has extended the life of the first lot of the 690-baht digital-TV coupons by two months.
Takorn Tantasith, secretary general of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), said the first lot of coupons was due to expire on May 31.
Now it can be used until July 31, 2015, he said.
TV viewers can exchange a coupon for a 690-baht set-top box or use it as a discount for a digital TV set or a hybrid set-top box which can receive both DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 signals.
The NBTC started sending the last lot of the coupon to 5.4 million households on May 21.
