Gold prices dropped 50 baht to 18,500.00 baht per baht-weight in Bangkok on Friday.
The Gold Traders Association announced the buying price at 18,400 baht and the selling price at 18,500.00 baht per baht-weight for bullion.
For ornaments, the buying and selling prices were 18,070.72 baht and 19,000.00 baht per baht-weight respectively.
On Thursday the buying and selling prices closed at 18,450.00 baht and 18,550.00 baht per baht-weight for gold bars and 18,116.20 baht and 19,050.00 baht per baht-weight for gold ornaments.
The prices were adjusted six times on Thursday, down 50 bant from the previous day.
