K-pop boy bands and girl groups have taken turns flowing in to steal the hearts of many Thai fans with their impressive shows nearly every week. But it isn't often to see a rap show by a top Korean rapper.

A collaboration between Thailand's A Chi Activation and Chan Activation and South Korea's AOMG, the "Above Ordinary Thailand: Simon Dominic" concert will bring Jung Ki-suck, known by his stage name Simon Dominic, in town to showcase Korean hip-hop music at the MCC Hall of The Mall Bangkapi, Ramkhamhaeng Road, on May 26 at 5pm.

The 35-year-old artist started his career as an underground rapper before his mainstream breakthrough after forming a hip-hop duo, Supreme Team, with rapper E Sens in 2009. Two years later, he released his first solo album, Simon Dominic Presents: SNL League Begins, that peaked at No.2 on the Gaon Album Chart.

Besides rapping, he had been the co-CEO of the hip-hop music label AOMG and also took the role of a celebrated producer of the popular Korean rap competition TV show, Show Me The Money Season 5.

He released his latest album Darkroom last year and it features the tracks like Me No Jay Park and Simon Says. With the long list of his solid resume, Thai fans can expect to see his striking acts and prepare to sing along with his self-titled hit, Simon Dominic.

Tickets cost 2,000, 3,500 and 4,500 baht and are available from http://ticket.achi.co.th.
