A curated selection of outstanding artworks by renowned local and international contemporary artists is exhibited during the pop-up exhibition "The Space Between Us II" which is running at Iconluxe, 1st floor of Iconsiam, Charoen Nakhon Road, until March 3.
This is the second instalment of a collaboration between Tang Contemporary Art and Iconsiam, which presents two dozen artworks, mostly acrylic and oil on canvas paintings, as well as some fine art prints and sculptures by a total of 19 artists.
Expect to once again witness images of two zodiac heads made from Lego bricks and a marble sculpture by Ai Weiwei who made a Bangkok debut solo exhibition last year.
Also, four artists -- Dinh Q Le from Vietnam and Pannaphan Yodmanee, Kitti Narod and Yuree Kensaku from Thailand -- who joined the first pop-up exhibition which ended late last month, continue to show their works here.
Other artists in the new line-up include Chen Wenbo, Ji Zhou, Linz, Zhang Yongxu and Zhao Zhao.
The pop-up show is another opportunity for art lovers to engage in different cultures and ideas presented through these new media artworks and appreciate them in a new light.
It is also expected to open a door to another side of of their lives. They will realise how art comes from life and understand the idea that "contemporary arts is the common language of all mankind".
