"Xhibition In The Dark" features experimental art by interior designer, illustrator and brand builder Chookiat Likitpunyarut, who takes viewers to explore human beings, big data technology and the concept of kinetic space through his installations at Xspace Art Gallery, until Jan 31.

Showcased in a dimly dark space under the belief that the best images are those seen in the dark, which requires our thoughts and instincts from the brain and heart, the installations present four major themes.

"Tree Of Knowledge" is an art installation of printed and online databases relevant to big data in art, architecture, literature, music and politics. It also touches on the issue of faith and belief from a knowledge repository that the artist has accumulated for decades.

"New York, New York" represents collectable objects the artist has acquired through his decade-long experience working with world-class organisations in New York while "You Are What You Eat" is an algorithm process of his experience, passion, education and way of life. "Kinetic Space" is an interactive installation that showcases the moving energy of objects or particles and allows viewers to join the creative process and determine the outcome of the work.

Also displayed are paintings, drawings and his book, Algorithm 2021, which records the creative notes he has collected throughout his career.

Xspace Art Gallery is located on Pridi Banomyong 14, Sukhumvit 71, and opens Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

There is no admission fee. Email contact@xspacegallery.com or call 066-073-2332.
