Merging luxury fashion and Japanese pop culture to inspire people's imaginations, the exclusive Montblanc x Naruto Shippuden collection is recounting a fun adventure of young ninja Naruto Uzumaki through writing instruments, leather fashion and smartwatches to mark the 20th anniversary of the adored manga series.

With 250 million copies sold in 46 countries, the anime series stands out as one of the best-selling and chronicles the exploits of young, orphaned ninja Naruto Uzumaki as he journeys through a magical world in pursuit of recognition and realises his desire of becoming the Hokage -- the leader of his village and the greatest ninja -- by achieving his goal of being the strongest ninja.

The Montblanc x Naruto collection highlights the transmission of knowledge and the relationship between Naruto and the older Jiraiya, a hermit and mentor to the young hero. Jiraiya was formerly a master ninja and travelled the world in quest of knowledge that he later imparted to his godson and last pupil Naruto.

The characters are placed against a black background and the pieces feature vivid orange design elements that evoke brush strokes, ink drips and calligraphy-style symbols.

"Naruto is a cultural phenomenon that appeals across generations because it addresses life lessons in a dynamic, compelling and accessible way. One of those lessons is the value that comes from the transmission of knowledge, a theme that is closely connected to Montblanc's own heritage in handwriting and its ongoing mission to inspire people to leave their mark on the world in a meaningful and purposeful way," says Nicolas Baretzki, CEO of Montblanc.

The Montblanc x Naruto Meisterstück Special Edition comes in three different pen styles: a rollerball, a ballpoint and a fountain pen with a gold nib embellished with ruthenium-coat accents and the symbol of the "Village hidden in the leaves" in yellow gold. The writing supplies are completed with unique orange ink in a glass bottle and a leather notepad with Naruto illustrations.

The range of elegant leather products includes sling bags, chest bags and mini reporter that can be worn crossbody, along with a tote and pouch with wrist strap. Each piece has a Naruto and/or Jiraiya depiction against the black leather, with the reverse in orange leather decorated with the writing symbols. There're also three credit card pocket holders, compact wallets, pen pouches, M buckle leather belts, key fobs, iPhone 13 covers and Air Pods cases.
