David Foster is bringing his signature tour to Bangkok once more. 'Thonburi Phanich Group Proudly Presents Hitman David Foster And Friends Bangkok 2023' is scheduled at Royal Paragon Hall on the fifth floor of Siam Paragon on Aug 5.
The Canadian legendary hitmaker, who collected 16 Grammy wins out of 47 nominations, during five decades of his illustrious career in music, is known for many hits and even the most casual fans of music must have heard of songs he wrote, co-wrote or produced.
His songwriting and co-songwriting credits include hits sung by big names such as Mariah Carey, Madonna and Celine Dion. Perhaps most notably, he penned Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing, Cheryl Lynn's Got To Be Real (which fans of Sex And The City will remember along with Carrie Bradshaw's awkward runway debut) and produced Houston's soul-ballad cover of I Will Always Love You.
Foster is bringing his hits, which will be performed by award-winning artists Michael Bolton, Loren Allred, Katharine McPhee and Peabo Bryson.
Allred definitely stands out among the lineup since she's known for giving goosebumps-inducing performances of Never Enough, which she originally performed for the film The Greatest Showman, after she put her face to the song in an audition for Britain's Got Talent in 2022 and received a much-deserved golden buzzer and a standing ovation.
Young Thai talent Putthipong "Billkin" Assaratanakul will also join Foster on stage for the first time. The world-class concert is sponsored by Thonburi Phanich Group, Singha Drinking Water, Air Asia, Plan B Media and MET 107.
