Wave to Earth, a Korean indie rock band, will make a comeback to the Kingdom for two exciting shows next week.

The "Wave To Earth: The First Era Concert" will hit the stage at Chiangmai Hall of Central Chiangmai Airport in Chiang Mai on March 6, and again at the Union Hall of Union Mall in Bangkok on March 9, both starting at 8pm.

Comprising singer/guitarist Daniel Kim, bassist Soonjong Cha and drummer Donggyu Shin, the band debuted with the single, Wave, in 2019, followed by two mini albums -- Wave 0.01 and Summer Flows 0.02 -- the following year.

Last April, the trio released their first studio album, 0.1 Flaws And All, which received global recognition. It consists of 14 songs, with only three of them in Korean while the rest in English including the popular track, Peach Eyes, for which the band got inspiration from Thai fans. Another hit from the album is Bad.

The band and their debut album are currently nominated for Musician Of The Year and Best Modern Rock Album at the 2024 Korean Musical Awards.

After their sold-out US tour last year, the trio will be making their Malaysian debut with two shows on March 2 and 3 before heading to Singapore for a gig on March 4. They will start touring Europe later this month.

Tickets cost 2,600, 3,200 and 5,000 baht and can be purchased from ticketmelon.com.
