The Australian short film festival Flickerfest will return to Bangkok as part of a selection of movies to be screened at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park, Phaya Thai Road, tomorrow from 6pm to 8pm.

Presented by the Australian embassy, the festival will showcase Australian filmmaking talent through eight short films. They include a parody of a dating reality show where an 18th century couple live together in the modern day; a retired Aussie superhero who tries to rejoin the workforce; and a young office worker who uncovers the flaws in his stop-motion universe.

The line-up includes four comedy short films -- Wonder Down Under directed by Declan Arrighi; White Lies by Greg Moran; The Best Dumplings In Melbourne by Brendan Wan; and Married At First Fleet by Blythe Ashton.

The others will be An Ostrich Told Me The World Is Fake And I Think I Believe It, an animation by Lachlan Pendragon; Somethings Not Quite Right, a drama by Tom Cornwall; The Moogai, a horror by Jon Bell; and Bunker: The Last Fleet, a sci-fi by Stephen Potter and Rowan Pullen.
