Delve into a world of fantasy during Thailand Toy Expo 2024 which kicks off tomorrow and runs until Sunday at CentralWorld, Ratchadamri Road.
Held under the theme "New Fairy Tale", this 12th edition will bring cute toys and collectables from 200 brands from 14 countries and activities at every zone across the shopping centre.
This is an opportunity to meet and talk with toy artists and designers from popular brands such as Coarse, Ashley Wood, Instinctoy, Punk Drunkers and Mighty Jaxx. Visitors are also invited to join workshops provided by experts to use art toys to help promote Thai culture.
Highlights include the launch of new collections from JPX such as Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Maho Sentai Magiranger and Nong Toy Kawaii; a daily supercar painting demonstration by world-famous artists at Square B and C; and an afternoon animation show from Japan tomorrow and on Sunday at Central Court, 1st floor.
At the "Spiritual Zone" located at Square B and C, discover how Thai art and culture are seamlessly combined and witness the works of culture-based designers such as Ganesha On The Cloud. Fortune-telling sessions are also available.
Also, prepare to witness a cosplay contest on Sunday, get guidance on how to turn your collectables into an investment from an expert from the US and learn more about collectable cards.
There is also an auction on limited edition collectables on Saturday at 5pm, with all proceeds going towards hospitals, children's organisations and temples in rural areas.
There is no admission fee. Visit facebook.com/ThailandToyExpo.
