To mark World Environment Day which falls on June 5 each year, Siam Piwat is holding "Citizen Of Earth By Siam Piwat Presents The Celebration: Love Earth" at SCBX Next Tech, 4th floor of Siam Paragon, tomorrow from 2-5pm.

Held also to celebrate Pride Month, the event will open with a creative eco-friendly fashion show presenting designs by LGBTI groups and renowned designers who transform Onesiam water cans and various waste materials into fashion items.

The creative works of LGBTI fashion designer Jaran Kongman will be presented by Bangkok Pride ambassadors. Joining them on the catwalk will be drag queens from Drag Bangkok and contestants from Miss Trans Thailand 2024.

The show will conclude with a complete set of clothing and accessories designed under the concept of "A Post-Apocalyptic" by Wishulada Panthanuvong, an artist reputed for creating works from waste materials. Presenting this finale outfit will be Nut Nisamani, an LGBTI YouTuber and influencer.

At 3.30pm, there will be a forum on "The Celebration: Love Earth -- Weaving Love for Our World" featuring experts from various fields. They will discuss and exchange ideas on innovative solutions and projects that can help reduce our environmental impact.

Speakers include Araya Indra, a fashion instructor from Silpakorn University's Faculty of Decorative Arts and a pioneer in sustainable fashion; Kamonnart Ongwandee from Fashion Renovation Network Thailand; Siriporn Sriaram, a scientist and climate change activist; Cendie Moly, a trash collector dedicated to environmental conservation; and Itthikorn Srijarnban from Wongpanit Suvarnabhumi Recycle Station.

The forum is open to people of all ages and genders. Seats are limited. To register, visit facebook.com/bangkokpride.officia.
