Breaking The Cycle

Directed by Thanakrit Duangmaneeporn and Aekaphong Saransate.

Who’s in it?

Kanokrat Lertchoosakul, Lalita Hanwong, Panitaluck Manokhan, Pannika Wanich, Piyabutr Saengkanokkul, Sulak Sivaraksa, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit and Yingcheep Atchanont.

What’s it about?

It explores the 2019 election in Thailand, which marked the end of five years of full military rule and a new group of young politicians, who campaign against an authoritarian constitution, sparking hope and a once-in-a- generation pro-democracy youth movement.

Why watch it?

The documentary captures the political awakening among Thais after the rise and fall of Thanathorn, a young politician who calls to end the cycle of coups d’etat aka the birth of the now dissolved Future Forward Party. 


Ya Boy Kongming! Road to Summer Sonia

Directed by Shu Honma.

Who’s in it?

The voices of 96Neko, Shoya Chiba and Jun Fukushima.

What’s it about?

The music industry becomes a battlefield when ancient strategist Kongming is transported from historical China to modern Japan. He'll use military tactics to turn his new friend Eiko into a music star, and together they'll take the party hotspot of Shibuya by storm.

Remake of Ya Boy Kongming! (2022).


The Watchers

Directed by Ishana Shyamalan.

Who’s in it?

Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell and Olwen Fouéré.

What’s it about?

A young artist gets stranded in an extensive, immaculate forest in western Ireland, where, after finding shelter, she becomes trapped alongside three strangers, stalked by mysterious creatures each night.

Why watch it?

Based on the book of the same name by A.M. Shine. And, directed by the daughter of M. Night Shyamalan.

Who’s in it?

The voices of Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith and Lewis Black.

What’s it about?

Teenager Riley's mind headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who've long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren't sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she's not alone.

Why watch it?

The first trailer received 157 million online views within the first 24 hours, more than any other Disney animated film.
