Every two weeks, Halfmoon Festival brings world-class DJs from the house, trance and techno spectrum to Koh Phangan's Magical Forest in Surat Thani.
The sizeable green coconut garden is surrounded by towering palm trees, stunning sand beaches and blue-green sea.
This year, the festival expands to a two-day event featuring three stages and a pre-beach day party concept at the stunning Harmony Beach Club with epic production, several stages, full beach activities, sunset boat trips and much more, making it an essential experience for anyone visiting the region.
Launched in 2022, this is one of the most recognised festivals in southern Thailand's burgeoning electronic music scene, offering cutting-edge European-style upscale production in a wonderful tropical setting.
It is a once-in-a-lifetime tropical paradise adventure with top-tier DJs and music producers from major record labels including Neelix, Fabio from Spin Twist Records, WhiteNoise, Ranji, Ghost Rider, ENIGMA, Querox, Phaxe and Weekend Heroes.
They promise live DJ sets featuring underground psychedelic and melodic techno along with an exclusive fire show. Also presented are house, indie dance, tech house, and progressive house, R&B, hip-hop and reggaeton.
Each two-day festival features a full day of beach activities, including a beach bar, non-alcoholic mocktails, kayaks, stand-up paddleboarding, yoga, static dance classes and optional sunset boat trips on Day One. Day Two features three dance floors, the biggest fire shows, fireworks and more.
The next events run on Friday, June 28, July 11 and 29, Aug 8 and 26, and Sept 9 and 25; while Halfmoon parties are scheduled for July 12 and 30, Aug 9 and 27, and Sept 10 and 26.
