Held in collaboration with the Italian Embassy to mark 150 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Italy, the festival highlights an exhibition of innovative and creative master creations of world-class Italian furniture and house-decoration brands designed by world famous designers and seen as the blueprint in the world of design aesthetics.

Exhibited under the theme “Design For Timeless” are “S Chair”, an internationally renowned piece by famed designer Tom Dixon in collaboration with Cappellini, an iconic furniture label in the world of chair design; “Lem” table by Magis, redesigned 30 years later by Andries & Hiroko van Onck; and the “D.156.3 Armchair”, designed in 1949 by Gio Ponti and chosen as one of the most representable exhibitors of the 10th Milan Triennale.

Other highlights include “The Madame Chair”, designed for Kartell by Philippe Starck, who took the inspiration from Pucci’s scarf collection; and “LC4 Chaise Longue”, designed for Cassina by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret. This long chair was dubbed “the relaxing machine” because of the way it mirrors the body’s natural curves while it appears to float above its supports.

The festival runs daily, 10am-8pm. There is no admission fee.
