The city's best burger joints.

This LA burger joint is the only one open around the clock to satisfy your cravings and trust me when I say it will not disappoint. 25 Degrees has four burgers, which are named simply Burger Number One, Burger Number Two, Burger Number Three and Burger Number Four, including a special Thai Burger. Don't go making the mistake that their burgers are anything but simple-tasting. Each one has its own unique flavour and it's sure to keep you coming back again and again until you've tried each of the burgers. Did we mention their milkshakes are to die for? Pair it with a burger to get the classic diner experience.
IHOP

If you weren't aware, a month or so ago IHOP -- or at least its stores in the US -- sent the Internet into a collective spasm when it announced it was "changing" its name to IHOB, which stands for "International House of Burgers". Weeks later, it was revealed that it was a marketing ploy but it had achieved its goal: people talked about it and other fast food chains poked fun at them on social media ("Burger King" changed its Twitter handle to "Pancake King" for a short while). There's a good reason why they would want to promote their burgers because -- spoiler alert -- pancakes aren't the only good thing being served at IHOP. Surprisingly, the burgers served at IHOP locations in the Big Mango are pretty darn great. You've got four choices: the classic Cheeseburger; add a bit of a crunch with the Bacon cheeseburger; have the perfect excuse for eating a burger for breakfast with the Denver omelette; and finally, my personal favourite, the Mushroom, spinach & Swiss burger. Burgers are served at their Megabangna location and their resto on the 4th floor at Siam Paragon.
BAD BURGER BANGKOK

The badass rebel of the list, Bad Burgers prides itself in being an irreverent, no-holds-barred, absolutely fun burger joint. It's no surprise, really, since their head chef is pretty much the same as evident by her hilarious posts on the restaurant's FB page. The bad boy of burgers in Bangkok is not just about being a rebel and sticking it to the typical restos and doing their own thing, but they're aptly named because their burgers are bad -- and when I say bad, I mean good. You can start out easy with the appropriately named "The basic bit*h", which can get stacked up to triple. Blue cheese lovers can get the Blue cheese burger and they also have veggie and gluten-free burger options, as well. If you really don't want to give a flying flip about your well-being, you can get your burger smothered with oozy cheese called "Kill me cheese" at an additional cost. On top of that, you can also get a combo dish, which consists of a burger and your choice of either pork ribs, beef short ribs or slow cooked brisket. Kudos to you if you come out of this alive. Oh, and they've also got eight beers on tap which they rotate periodically -- a great partner to whatever burger you choose to opt for.
PAPA'S KITCHEN
Pattanakan 30 & The Park, 561 Krung Thep Kritha Road

Papa's Kitchen is one of my go-to places when I'm craving comfort food. Their menu offers a pretty good variety of dishes, which include scrumptious starters like their Salt 'n' pepper calamari served with garlic mayo, their fish 'n' chips, which is one of the best around town, and of course, burgers. With names like the Flying Dutchman and Chuck Norris, each burger offers something different, which will give you the welcome challenge and frustration of which one to try first -- or why not try all of them? Papa's does have more than just burgers in their spread, but if you're looking for a good burger, Papa's is one of the places to head to. They've got two locations open but they're opening a new burger-centric location in a few months at Siam Center so keep your eyes peeled and your bellies ready.
MOTHER TRUCKER BURGER

There are many joys in life: finding your true love, having great friends, getting a promotion and the fact that there are burgers you can stack as high as you want. If you want your burgers sky-high without diminishing the taste and quality, Mother Trucker Burger is your best bet. Their burgers can be pork or beef and are served with onion rings and their special sauce, but what sets them apart from the rest on this list is that if you're up for the challenge and are just completely insane, you can get their Quadruple burger. If you haven't gotten it yet, they stack the patty and onion rings starting with a Single, Double, Triple and Quadruple, and they don't use measly little patties with small onion rings so don't go underestimating even their Double. Mother Trucker Burger don't have a permanent place but they've got a number of trucks roaming around the city so stay tuned on their FB page to see where they'll pop up next.
CAST IRON BURGERHAUS

If you live near BTS Mo Chit then Cast Iron Burgerhaus is the most accessible burger joint, not that that's the only thing it's got going for it. Their variety of burgers include the Double stack, the Jalapeño asado and Swiss mushroom, with a couple more. One unique thing about this resto is that you can get bacon to be added to your burgers. Doesn't sound at all unique at first but they use thick juicy bacon instead of thin crispy strips so it's an entire different taste and experience. They also serve milkshakes and have a number of craft beers.
HONORABLE MEMTIONS
Here are a few other places you probly already know of but are still worth mentioning
CARL'S JR.

When it comes to fast food burgers, this is probably the best one. Sizable buns, a hefty patty, refillable drinks and classic milkshakes makes this a great non-fancy resto burger place.

You can't go wrong with Burger King. The quality is good, the prices are reasonable and they've got a lot of locations so it's easy to find one when you need a burger fix.

MOS BURGER

No, they don't really serve up the "classic burger", but they're still pretty good if you want something familiar yet different. Their fries are pretty darn great, too.
