Thai foodies are invited to embark on a journey of culinary rediscovery at the "Singapore Food Festival 2020", which goes virtual for the first time to allow everyone to enjoy the rich depth of Singapore's gastronomic scene, until Aug 30.

Organised by the Singapore Tourism Board, the festival is a celebration of Singapore's obsession with local cuisine and foodies from any country can look forward to the upcoming weekend of feasting and exploring their culinary passions in a plethora of exciting programmes and interactive experiences hosted by experts and chefs in Singapore.

Singapore's dining scene will come to life in the form of virtual food tours, live masterclasses, chef collaborations, food bundles and limited edition food merchandise.

The audience will journey virtually through the historical Tanjong Pagar and Chinatown precincts to discover stories behind popular eateries in the area, tales behind its heritage food businesses and lesser-known food gems.

The live masterclasses offer a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process by renowned chefs and experts. Viewers can tune in via the Webex virtual platform to these intimate live sessions as they let audiences in on their tips, tricks and secrets.
