The "Book Expo Thailand" is back with a hybrid format and the theme of "NoGongDong" to remind us not only to buy books but also read them.

Running from tomorrow until Oct 11, the 25th edition of the much-anticipated event will feature almost 750 booths offering various choices of books from more than 260 publishing houses at Impact Challenger 2, Muang Thong Thani.

Visitors to the fair will be thrilled with up to 60% discounts presented in all genres of books at all seven zones.

The "Book Wonderland" zone brings comics and books for the new generation; the "General Books" zone features lifestyle and general-knowledge books; the "Fiction & Literature" zone presents books by famous authors to boost our imagination; and the "International Books" zone is where we can find books from foreign countries.

A variety of books and materials to promote skills in young children will also be available at the "Children's Books and Multimedia Learning" area while the "Educational Books" area is the place to be for students looking for study guides, exam preparation material or books on specific topics. Meanwhile, book collectors can't miss the "Old & Rare Books" section.

There will be a series of "Book Talks" where iconic writers, thought leaders and experts from various fields will take turns to inspire us. They include Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul from Kasikornbank, Vichet Tantiwanich, Jakkapong Mespan (aka Noom the Money Coach) and Tanthai Prasertkul.

Visitors will also have an opportunity to meet artists and actors who will be ready to share their thoughts with bookworms. Among them are Cherprang Areekul from BNK48, Suphakorn "Podd" Sriphothong, Thanawat "Khaotung" Rattanakitpaisarn, Pirapat "Earth" Watthanasetsiri and Sahaphap "Mix" Wongratch.

Another highlight is "The Art of GongDong Exhibition" which will help us discover the link between reading and emotions, get to know book collectors from different parts of the world, and learn some tips on how to "topple" piles of books at home.

For those who can't come to the physical fair, they can opt to join activities and shop for books via ThaiBookFair.com. Kerry Express, Lazada and Shopee will offer special deals and discounts worth more than 2.3 million baht in total, with discount coupons available from this online platform from tomorrow onwards.
