Created from used aluminium Nescafe Ready-to Drink cans, a robot welcomed guests and checked their temperature at Nescafe Day, held on International Coffee Day which annually falls on Oct 1.

Staged at Royal Paragon Hall 3, Siam Paragon, the event gathered 10 brand ambassadors, such as actors Ananda Everingham, Thanawat Wattanaputi and Jirayu Tangsrisuk. Victor Seah, Nestle Indochina chairman and CEO, and Naritta Vipulyasekha, Nestle (Thai) business manager for Nescafe coffee mixes, reinforced the company's commitment to sustainable packaging, such as 100% monostructure plastic sachets, specially designed for recycling.

The used sachets can be upcycled into dining tables for schools across Thailand, and other ecofurniture, which will appear in Nescafe hubs and street cafe.
