Many fun activities are on offer the week leading to New Year's Eve at CentralWorld on Ratchadamri Road.
First of all, a Christmas vibe is in full swing with millions of dazzling decorative lights in front of the shopping mall where the tallest Christmas tree in Southeast Asia is standing. Then indulge with favourite dishes from more than 100 shops and cafes at the the "World Food Market" held under the winter-welcoming atmosphere daily until Jan 3.
At the Central Court, one of the three mascot shows is performed three times a day to keep shoppers entertained until the last day of the year.
They include the "Magical Mirror Show" featuring lovely creatures that glow in the dark, the "Once Upon A Toys Show" that will take everyone into the world of Nutcracker, and the "Light Of The Reindeer Show" featuring illuminating reindeers.
Exclusively on Christmas Day, all three shows will be presented from 2pm onward. The highlight will be the "Christmas Magical Parade" at 5.30pm and 8pm.
Expect to get more excited on Dec 30 as there will be a bozo show and a mini concert by New Orleans Jazz: Mother Funky in front of CentralWorld from 7pm to 8pm.
There is also a fun shopping vibe where visitors can shop for gifts and souvenirs from all over the world during the "YWCA x CentralWorld Bazaar" until Jan 5 and "The World Festival & Gift Market" until Jan 6.
