Helping those who help strays

SOCIAL & LIFESTYLE

Adoption is one way to solve the problem of stray animals in Thailand. This month, Mars Petcare (Thailand) is offering support to those who are looking for a cat or dog as a new family member from the Voice Foundation.

As the manufacturer of Pedigree, Whiskas, Cesar, Sheba and Temptation, Mars Petcare will offer complimentary pet food from either Pedigree or Whiskas to anyone who decides to adopt from the foundation.

As a thank you for their love and kindness to the poor animals, pet food worth more than 1,000 baht will be provided, which is equivalent to one month's food for a pet.

The Voice Foundation has many stray and sick animals under its care that need a new home and a kind owner who can give them love and affection. Since its inception in 2013, the nonprofit animal rights group has taken care of more than 500 stray animals.

Its purpose is to rescue and give treatments to abandoned, attacked or injured animals and find new homes for them. The foundation also focuses on animal welfare to make sure that they have a better quality of life in every aspect. Over the years, the foundation has launched many campaigns to promote a sense of responsibility among pet owners.
