Sending a postcard is a classic form of communication, which has sadly become less common today. However, this small piece of paper -- with a picture on one side and a quick short message on the other -- remains a popular souvenir.

To revive this creative method of delivering messages of love, care and best wishes to each other during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre invites interested persons to come and join a special activity at the "Postcard From A Stranger" exhibition, which is running at the Curved Wall, 5th floor, until Feb 28.

A collaboration with Happening shop, this is an opportunity for everyone with a caring character to send a heart-warming postcard, which is also a form of art, to someone who might be losing hope or just needs some encouragement to brave through these difficult times.

Each participant should bring a postcard and write an encouraging message for a stranger. Afterwards, they should attach Nitto tape to the back of the card and stick it anywhere on the wall.

Just make sure to wash hands with alcohol gel before putting a card on the wall. Before leaving, visitors can pick a postcard from a stranger to keep as an encouraging souvenir.

There are many shops in the art centre offering postcards for sale. They include Gallery Drip Coffee and It's Going Green on the 1st floor; Artist House, Tom Artist, Na Kittikoon Foundation, CWart, Sukhontha Kesornsit and Robert Studio Art & Design on the 2nd floor; Happening, Artist Colors and Dress Me Up on the 3rd floor; Bookmony, SEA Junction, Tavises Learning Centre and Jeejee on the 4th floor; and BACC shop on the 5th floor.
