Ganja is making its way to a Bangkok shopping mall for the first time during "Ganja & TTM In The City", which kicks off today and runs until Sunday, at Paradise Park, Srinakarin Road.

Organised by the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine in collaboration with the Thai Wisdom of Traditional Medicine Network, the fair brings a range of cannabis and herbal products in the form of foods, beverages and cosmeceuticals.

Traditional Thai medicine doctors with expertise in various fields will be there to provide knowledge about traditional Thai medicine and the benefits of cannabis for medical use through many activities.

There will be cannabis clinics offering treatment of diseases commonly found among the elderly and those with menopause and non-communicable diseases as well as care for women during and after pregnancy.

Visitors will also learn about the science of ancient massage from folk doctors and witness a demonstration on how to make medicine and cosmetics using herbs such as cannabis massage oil, inhalant and liquid balm with cannabis.

The fair is being held with the aim to promote local wisdom about traditional Thai medicine and its credibility in terms of academic potential to offer better opportunities to access services related to traditional Thai medicine.
