Enthusiastic runners have until tomorrow to register for the "Phuket Sunset Beach Run", which will take place at Xana Beach Club of Angsana Laguna Phuket on April 11 at 4pm.
Held in collaboration with Tero Entertainment, the fun run is part of the "Phuket Phuket Revive 555 Festival", an initiative to boost tourism and local business in Phuket over the Songkran holidays.
It is open to runners of all ages and they can choose to join one of the two race distances -- 3km and 6km, with both courses being run along the beautiful sands of Bang Tao beach.
This is a rare opportunity to get to enjoy the sea, sand and sunset while exercising on one of the most beautiful spots on the Andaman shore. The first three male and female runners to make it to the finish line will each receive a trophy and a cash prize worth 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 baht.

After the run, there will be a beach party featuring a live performance by rock band Slot Machine as well as music by popular DJs who will get everyone dancing into the night.
Each race is limited to 500 runners and the registration fee is 550 baht including a running shirt, a bag, a bib and a medallion upon completing the race. Registrations can be made at Thai Ticket Major outlets (visit thaiticketmajor.com or call 02-262-3456).
