Donations sought in pandemic fight

The third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has seen infections skyrocket, especially in Bangkok and nearby provinces. And there's no sign of it stopping just yet.

Thai doctors and healthcare personnel are now working hard to treat the rising number of infected patients at both hospitals and field hospitals amid concerns of possible shortages of medical equipment and supplies in the near future.

That's why everyone is once again invited to help by making donations in the form of cash or simply sending necessary items that are in high demand by the following hospitals:

Thammasat University Field Hospital is calling for food, personal items and medical supplies for its field hospital.

Instant food of any kind, drinking water, UHT milk, fruit juice, snacks, toothpaste, liquid soap, shampoo, slippers (No.10-11), tissue paper, standardised PPE coveralls (size M, L), surgical masks, adult diapers, and sore throat lozenges can be directly sent to the field hospital or Thammasat University Hospital in Klong Luang, Pathum Thani. Cash donations are also welcome via bank transfer to Krungthai Bank account number 475-0-99083-3 and deposit documents should be sent to Line official account: @tuh_donation. King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital offers several channels for people wishing to contribute to the treatment of Covid-19 patients and to support the mission of medical staff.

Donations can be made via money transfer to Kasikorn Bank account number 059-1-93894-0. Deposit documents should be sent to lorchulasaphanboon@gmail.com. Call 02-251-7804 or 02-256-4000 ext 3229 and 3444. The hospital also accepts donations of N95 masks as well as ready-made food or dried food for medical personnel. Siriraj Hospital is calling for cash donations for the "Siriraj Soo Pai Covid" fund and other items for both medical staff and patients.

Money can be transferred to Bangkok Bank account number 901-3-50034-4 or Siam Commercial Bank account number 016-3-045-90-7. Deposit documents should be sent to donate_siriraj@hotmail.com and sicashier@mahidol.ac.th, respectively. Items such as N95 masks, face shields, PPE suites, medical supplies, frozen food and biodegradable containers with lids are also urgently needed and can be sent directly to the hospital. Ramathibodi Hospital is accepting funds to support its preventive measures, research and treatment of Covid-19 disease.

Donations can be made online at either ramafoundation.or.th or via bank transfer to Bangkok Bank account number 090-3-50015-5, Kasikorn Bank account number 879-2-00448-3 and Siam Commercial Bank account number 026-3-05216-3. Rajavithi Hospital is accepting cash donations for the purchase of medical equipment and other medical expenses.

Donations can be made via bank transfer to Krungthai Bank account named "Rajavithi Hospital Foundation", account number 674-0-78192-3. Deposit documents should be sent to donation@rajavithi.go.th.


Vajira Hospital is raising funds to purchase medical equipment and is accepting other necessary items as well as food and beverage for its medical personnel.

Maharaj Nakhon Chiang Mai Hospital is raising funds for the "For Covid-19 Patients" project and calling for medical equipment and other supplies.

The Faculty of Medicine, Srinakharinwirot University has recently set up a field hospital at its Ongkharak campus in Nakhon Nayok and personal items for patients are needed.
