Here's a way anyone can contribute to society right now as the number of Covid-19 infections is rising due to the third wave to the point where more field hospitals must be set up nationwide.

As field hospital beds are urgently required for the increasing number of field hospitals, SCG Packaging, a leading packaging company in Southeast Asia, has once again joined hands with Tesco Lotus to invite the general public to bring in unused paper boxes or cartons to donate at Lotus hypermarkets. For this collaboration, SCGP will take the donated paper boxes and cartons into its recycling process in order to produce 100% recycled paper field hospital beds that are also environmental friendly.

Based on the science of ergonomics, the innovative paper beds will be easy to use and go well with the bodies of Asian people. They are lightweight but can carry up to 100kg at the horizontal level. They are also easy to transport and each takes only eight minutes for installation, without glue.

The recycled field beds will be donated to the field hospitals in need in the hope that the support from all of us will help the country get through these challenging times.

Interested people can drop paper boxes and cartons at the pick-up point at any branches of Lotus hypermarket across the country.
