The Parq Life, a brand-new mixed-use retail space complex, invites everyone to celebrate the joy of the festive season during "Chill At The Parq 2022" until Jan 15.

The festival features a variety of shopping and dining options, as well as exciting activities, with the adorable duo John and Lulu waiting to greet you. The cartoon characters were created by illustrator and graphic designer Seatapron Korwanichakul, aka Painterbell.

He also designs an exclusive The Parq x Painterbell tote bag which is given as a gift to all shoppers who spend at least 1,000 baht at any store and restaurant within the retail centre throughout this month.

For every purchase of 1,500 baht, customers are also entitled to join his plant pot painting workshop, which will take place on Saturday from 2pm to 3.30pm and 4pm to 5.30pm. Seats are limited to 20 per session.

A total of 100 bags will be prizes for the "Shoot & Share" photo contest that invites visitors to take photos of the three corners at The Parq x Painterbell area and post them on their public Instagram accounts with hashtags #THEPARQ and #CHILLATTHEPARQ2022.

The first 100 photos that receive the most likes and comments will win the bags. The contest runs until Dec 31.

Another highlight is the "Winter Market", which is running at Q Steps on the first floor until year-end. It brings more than 40 shops to offer fashion and lifestyle products, home decor items, and eco-friendly art and craft products.

Shoppers will be able to relax with live acoustic music in the afternoon this Saturday and Sunday.

The festival will also feature a live piano performance by internationally renowned musician Jonas Dept, also known as The Pianologist. He will render a selection of Christmas carols and festive songs with a mix of upbeat rhythms today at 5pm and again on Dec 24 at 11.30am.

Saplings of two kinds of air-purifying and auspicious plants -- silver Catathea and peacock plant -- are special gifts for visitors who scan the QR code at the venue and complete the online survey about the festival.

The Parq Life is on Ratchadaphisek Road, next to MRT Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Exit 2.
