The much-anticipated "Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar" returns with a hybrid charity shopping experience, on the ground at the Royal Paragon Hall of Siam Paragon and online via dpcredcrossbazaar.com, starting today until Sunday.

Organised under the "Happy Shopping And Enjoy Giving" concept by the Thai Red Cross Society in collaboration with spouses of diplomats to Thailand, the 55th edition of the annual bazaar brings a wide range of the best and signature products from 54 countries at more than 170 booths.

They include household goods from the US, rose soap and skincare products from Bulgaria, personal care products from Spain and pure argan oil from Morocco. Also featured are cashmere tops, scarves and shawls from Mongolia, quality salmon from Norway, glassware from the Czech Republic as well as local handicrafts from Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka and Russian nesting dolls.

Visitors can also enjoy browsing for quality coffee and tea from Brazil, Canada, Germany, Kenya and Chile, superfoods from Peru, wide varieties of snacks and beverages from Singapore, Korea and Japan, chocolate and cheese from Belgium, Switzerland and Italy, and kitchenware, utensils, fresh and dried fruits, date and carpets from Turkey.

Besides skincare, cosmetics and Otop products and items from many royal-initiated projects from Thailand, there are also souvenirs from various countries.

More than 80 exhibitors are joining the online platform to offer a convenient channel for those preferring to shop from home. They are from the embassies, royal-initiated projects, private companies as well as the Thai Red Cross souvenir shop. Thailand Post will offer special delivery rates while fresh food, fruits or chocolate can be delivered across the country via temperature-controlled vehicles.

Tickets to the on-site bazaar cost 50 baht and the Diplomatic Red Cross Bazaar lottery tickets are available at 50 baht each. Proceeds from the event will be presented to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for her charitable cause for the Thai Red Cross Society.
