Swiss Clinique La Prairie comes to Bangkok

Based in Montreux, Switzerland, Clinique La Prairie celebrated its 90th-anniversary last year.

The world-renowned longevity centre was founded by Prof Paul Niehans, whose research in cellular therapy aimed to slow down ageing and enhance the natural protective system to better handle diseases or injuries.

Its signature revitalisation treatments and wellness traditions are now being delivered at its first facility outside of Europe -- the Clinique La Prairie Aesthetics Medical & Spa, spanning 1,500m² on level 15 of St. Regis Bangkok.

Available until the end of June, the Journey to Switzerland package (5,500 baht) takes spa-goers to its birthplace.

It includes complimentary access to the relaxation facilities featuring a wet area with rain showers, Thai herbal steam rooms, twilight rasul, vitality pools, foot reflexology water wall and relaxation pods.

After the hydrotherapy, the 75-minute signature massage focuses on stress relief, deep relaxation, energy or lymphatic flow stimulation.

The complementary three-course lunch is created by Andreas Caminada, the founding chef of IGNIV restaurant and head chef of internationally acclaimed three Michelin-starred restaurant Schloss Schauenstein in Switzerland.

In addition, a cash voucher of 1000 baht can be used for a future booking. Exclusive memberships are also available, and packages with exclusive opening values ranging between 100,000 to 350,000 baht can be booked directly through the spa.
