Gourmet Market celebrates 'Taste Of Australia'
Fresh seafood from Australia.

The best ingredients and top-notch products from Australia are presented during "Taste Of Australia 2022", which is running at three branches of the Gourmet Market -- Emporium, EmQuartier and Paragon -- until July 4.

Held in collaboration with the Australian embassy and Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), this is the first time that renowned fresh ingredients such as Galician beef from Vintage Beef and hapuku fish are introduced at the event.

The beef comes from very robust and healthy, grass-fed cattle that are matured for over 50-60 months with no growth hormones used in the raising process, resulting in rich and flavourful meat with superb marbling. Hapuku fish, meanwhile, is found near the coral reefs on the outer shores of the south of Australia.

Other highlights are fresh seafood such as Tasmanian salmon, yellow tail kingfish and Australian mussels; luxurious quality beef like Ebony Prime Black Angus and Bass Strait Pure Southern Beef; and premium lamb.

Also available are a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables including green seedless grapes, red seedless grapes, different species of Mandarin orange, kiwi, spinach, carrot, cooked beetroot, broccolini, kale and purple cabbage.

Besides delightful products from famous Aussie brands such as Leggo's, San Remo, Pure Harvest, Farmers Union Greek and Madura, foodies will love ready-to-eat dishes such as truffle salmon carpaccio, mixed sashimi, white wine blue mussel and tuna tataki.

Meanwhile, the You Hunt We Cook counter presents a special dish of pesto-crusted T-bone steak, using Vintage Beef's Galician beef as a major ingredient.
