Tackling signs of ageing has been Merz's expertise since the German pharmaceutical company introduced an antiwrinkle preparation in 1953.

Two years ago, reorganisation into three businesses, one being Merz Aesthetics, reinforced its mission to help people look and feel better through injectables, devices and skincare products.

Its subsidiary in Thailand recently introduced a German botulinum toxin under the "2-0-0" concept, with the number 2 representing second generation and noughts referring to zero impurities and resistance.

The non-invasive procedure targets wrinkles caused by muscle movements during facial expressions, such as squinting, smiling and laughing. Moreover, it can be used for facial contouring, which has become popular among people desiring a V-shaped face.

Through the slogan "Confident To Be", Merz Aesthetics supports the young generation to be a better and confident version of themselves.

Representing this target group, Suppasit Jongcheveevat, Nattasha Bunprachom and Praiya Padungsuk attended the launch of the new product and campaign titled "The Beauty Of Self Xpression" held recently at Samyan Mitrtown.

Founded in Frankfurt in 1908, Merz has remained a family-owned company, now run by the fourth generation, who also oversee Merz Therapeutics and Merz Consumer Care.

Besides the purified neuromodulator, Merz Aesthetics offers complementing structural fillers and Ultherapy microfocused ultrasound to help people knock off the years.
