Henry Rollins will be in town to present a stand-up comedy show as part of his "Good To See You 2022" spoken world tour at Aksra Theatre King Power, Rang Nam Road, on Oct 21 at 8pm.

Presented by Live Nation Tero, this is the first chance for Thai fans to catch the 61-year-old talent from Washington DC known for his popular spoken word performances, or "talking shows", that mix political commentary and personal anecdotes, humour, outrage and pop culture, all with a healthy dose of scepticism.

Rollins is an acclaimed singer, writer, actor, host, DJ, activist, storyteller and comedian whom The Washington Post described as "diatribist, confessor, provocateur, humourist, even motivational speaker".

He has toured the world as a spoken word artist, as frontman for both the Rollins Band and Black Flag and as a solitary traveller with insatiable curiosity. His curiosity and keen observations are reflected in his skills as a storyteller with an easy sense of humour and the ability to inspire.

Next month will see him touring America before he will embark on an Asia tour starting in Tokyo. Then, he will head to perform in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Tickets cost 1,500, 2,500 and 3,500 baht and will be available for purchase on Thursday from 10am onwards at nine selected Thai Ticket Major outlets and via thaiticketmajor.com.
