Here's an easy way to help save our environment and also earn a little reward.

GEPP, a digital waste platform that helps manage waste collection effectively recently launched the GEPP Rewards App with the aim to help consumers dispose of recyclable waste properly while allowing them to earn points that can be redeemed for rewards that match their lifestyle.
The application is available for free download via apple.co/36fhXXx for iOS and bit.ly/3N5d7ga for Android. After registration, users can search for nearby recycling shops or drop-off points to hand over their recyclable waste, and then record their data.
The app will calculate the positive impact such as the amount of carbon footprint reductions that will help enhance Thailand's circular economy, and grant points that can be redeemed for giveaways of choice including movie tickets and vouchers from leading cafes and department stores.
It is expected that the application will reach over 1,300 recycling shops, achieve more than 10,000 downloads, and collect at least 3 tonnes of PET post-consumer bottles within eight months of the campaign.
According to Mayuree Aroonwaranon, co-founder and CEO of GEPP, which also acts as a connector between people who want to buy and sell recyclable waste, the application has been developed to facilitate and incentivise the sorting of recyclable materials at home. Public contribution will help reduce waste to landfills as well as carbon emissions.
