To mark the 122nd birthday anniversary of Somdet Phra Srinagarindra Boromrajajonani, the late Princess Mother, revered across the nation as Somdet Ya, Siam Paragon is holding "The 25th edition Of Remembering Of Somdet Ya And The 50th Anniversary Of Mae Fah Luang Foundation" exhibition, at the Fashion Hall on the 1st floor, until Oct 24.

The two-part exhibition focuses on the theme "From The Starting Point To The Turning Point: Stepping Forward For Cultivating Forests, Cultivating People" to reflect her great contribution towards all Thai people.

In the first zone, visitors will learn about the background and operation of Mae Fah Luang Foundation which was founded by Somdet Ya 50 years ago with the aim to create opportunities and provide alternatives to living for all people.

She had a strong belief in human potential and the innate goodness of people no matter where they come from or where they live in the country.

The second zone is titled "Cultivating Forests, Cultivating People". It recounts the guidelines and the successful improvement of the well-being in local communities and the environmental conservation based on the idea of the interdependence of forest and people.

Besides the tribute exhibition, a variety of products from Doi Tung Plant Store, Doi Tung Lifestyle Shop and Krua Tamnak are available for sale. There will also be DIY workshops on miniature tray gardens and drip coffee brewing on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm and 4pm.
