To welcome the winter season, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok will tomorrow present the orchestra concert "La Symphonie D'Hiver" at the hotel's grand lobby.
Inspired by the winter of France, the concert will be performed live by the Thai Youth Orchestra (TYO).
The TYO ensemble, a gathering of nearly 50 musical artists and singers, will delight the audience, Francophiles and any bon vivant alike with a seasonal repertoire as well as a mixture of orchestral and choral classics. The concert will be conducted by music prodigy Akarawat Srinarong.
The musical compilation is finely crafted to enliven the wintry spirit with some of the most popular classical tunes and well-known orchestral works of renowned French composers.
Highlights include Claude Debussy's most celebrated pieces from his ravishingly delicate orchestral tapestries, regarded as a link between romanticism and modernity. The compositions will be re-orchestrated with precise poetic harmony as the centrepiece of the programme.
There will be also a line-up of Maurice Ravel's notable, influential impressionist musical pieces which promise to evoke nostalgia.
The Friday concert will be complemented by an exquisite setting that allows the sound to bloom and sparkle for a perfectly angelic resonance in the best possible way.
To heighten the grandeur of the occasion, a specially gala buffet will be held in The Dining Room.
The hotel's French executive chef David Senia has prepared, from start to finish, a French-inspired gourmet spread alongside delicious top-tier specialities from cuisines around the world.
The culinary feature encompasses Gallic classics, including croque-en-bouche mimosa lobster; pâté-en-croute duck foie gras and artichoke gratin; a variety of prime seafood on ice such as rock lobsters, New Zealand mussels and freshly-shucked oysters; and premium-quality carvery items that include Australian lamb racks and prime sirloin steak.
There will also be à-la-minute Asian and Western dishes from live-cooking stations; a selection of imported artisan cheeses and cold cuts from Europe; and a large array of desserts and viennoiseries.
The "La Symphonie D'Hiver, A Grand Orchestra Concert At Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok" will be held tomorrow from 7-9.30pm.
The price is 4,490 baht per person inclusive of a dinner buffet in The Dining Room.
