After Thai actor Teeradon Supapunpinyo, Hublot has named rapper Pitawat Pruksakit aka Twopee as the new Friend of the Brand. The announcement was made at the official opening of the Hublot boutique on Siam Paragon's M Floor.
Twopee brought his signature style to the hip-hop genre and his music prowess made him a coach on The Rapper Thailand TV show. The native of Phuket combines streetwear with high fashion in his unique style, attesting that he has a similar DNA as the Swiss watchmaker: Be First, Unique and Different.
In addition, his diverse interests include sports, reflecting on Hublot's Sport Luxury concept. Based in Nyon, Hublot is the Official Timekeeper for the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women's World Cup while tennis player Novak Djokovic and baseball player Masahiro Tanaka are among its ambassadors.
The brand name Hublot is French for a ship's porthole, which inspired the design of the debut model featuring a combination of gold and rubber, with this Art of Fusion disrupting haute horlogerie.
The unusual combination of materials was taken to the next level in Big Bang, which won the Design Watch Prize at the Grand Prix D'Horlogerie Genève 2005. Its successors include the barrel-shaped Spirit of Big Bang.

At the boutique opening, Twopee wore Spirit of Big Bang King Gold Pavé matched with a black rubber strap. Hublot's metallurgy and materials laboratory developed the warmer-coloured King Gold alloy containing platinum. The luxurious chronograph represents a fusion between tradition and innovation in an entirely skeletonised design.
The Art of Fusion is even embodied in the boutique's interior design, which mixes modern and luxurious furniture with traditional materials including wood, marble and concrete.
Sole distributor PMT The Hour Glass operates this store as well Hublot's first boutiqe in Bangkok, located on Central Embassy's G Floor.
