The snake motif first appeared on a Bulgari watch with Tubogas bands embracing the wrist in the late 1940s.
A metamorphosis has resulted in the new Serpenti Tubogas Infinity, driven by a quartz movement and fitted with a single-tour or double-tour bracelet.

On the third variation, eight deep red rubies contrast with a diamond pave motif on the fanned petal. The hardness of the stones harmonises with the fluidity of the petals, which flutter following wrist movements.
Evoking ginkgo leaf, the fan shape recalls a motif on mosaic floor gracing the Baths of Caracalla in Rome. Bulgari has financially supported the restoration of the historic mosaics in preserving the Eternal City's archaeological heritage.
The fan-shaped pattern has also been recreated with sapphire gradients ranging from pale purple to magenta on the dial of the rose gold 37mm Divas' Dream Mosaica, whose bezel is embellished with diamonds and pink sapphires.
Likewise, the snow setting makes the colours subtly shift from sky blue to deep azure on the face of the white gold iteration with a diamond-set bezel.
The design of the bracelet's gemset lugs echoes the motif on the dial while each of the fan-shaped links sparkles with a profusion of diamonds.
The transparent caseback reveals the finely decorated self-winding movement, which shows Bulgari's prowess in mechanical movements.
