Zenith goes pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Zenith reaffirms its support for the global battle against the disease with Chronomaster Sport Pink presented in a 41mm stainless steel case.

El Primero 3600.

Its award-winning 1/10th of a second chronograph has been given a striking pink face. The radiant sunburst metallic dial reflects a range of intense pink hues, while its oversized chronograph counters and even the date wheel are in a matching colour.

The engraved 1/10th of a second bezel is crafted in steel instead of ceramic. With its polished surface and black filled engraved markers, it takes on a slightly retro vibe, recalling the El Primero Rainbow models of the 1990s.

Visible through the sapphire display back is the latest version of the El Primero calibre. With its high frequency of 50Hz, the El Primero 3600 offers a true 1/10th of second indication while the contemporary and efficient construction allows for a power reserve of 60 hours.

Limited to 500 pieces, the Chronomaster Sport Pink is the latest in a long series of watches created to raise awareness on breast cancer, under Zenith Horiz-on initiative's main pillar of women's empowerment.

The Swiss watchmaker will donate 20% of the proceeds to Susan G. Komen, the world's leading breast cancer organisation, aiding efforts to reach out to more women and offer access to education, support and hope.

The nonprofit organisation was founded in Dallas, Texas, by Nancy G. Brinker, whose older sister Susan G. Komen passed away in 1980 at the age of 36 following a three-year battle with breast cancer.

Its comprehensive 360-degree approach to fighting this disease includes driving research breakthroughs, improving access to high-quality care, offering direct patient support and empowering people with trustworthy information.
