A recognition of Thailand's and the region's watering holes, the Bangkok Bar Show and Awards will be held from Nov 3-5 at the historical Royal Bangkok Sports Club.
Located in the stunning Henri Dunant Hall, next to the horse-racing track, Bangkok Bar Show 2023 provides one of a kind experiences including seminars, masterclasses and guest-shifts, welcoming like-minded people from all over the world.
The awards will take place on Nov 6, which will also see the launch of the BKK Bar Show Awards Gala Dinner held at Henri Dunant Hall. Voted by a strong academy of more than 50 members, including bar owners, managers and drinks writers, the following awards will be presented: Thailand 20 Best Bars, Best Cocktail Bar (Bangkok, Phuket/Samui, Chiang Mai), Bartender of the Year, Emerging Bartender of the Year, Hotel Bar of the Year, Restaurant Bar of the Year, New Bar of the Year, Bar Team of the Year, Menu Design of the Year and the Art of Hospitality Award.
The opening reception will be held at Firefly Bar, Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel on Nov 2, from 7pm to midnight. Hendricks’ Brand Ambassador Charmaine Thio, William Wu from The Public House, Taipei, Darren Lim from Vender Bar, Taichung, Mars Chang from Infinity & Beyond, Taipei (and Red Chuang from Voice Over Bar, Kaohsiung City will be serving their best portions.
This is Thailand’s biggest trade and consumer show for anyone who is interested in cocktails and fine drinking. Advance tickets until Oct 31 are B450 for a one-day pass or B1,250 for a three-day pass. To attend the awards gala dinner, tickets are B2,400 and a VIP pass, which includes the gala dinner and a three-day pass is B3,350.
