Succulent crab / Orchid Café, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit / Until Oct 29

Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is showcasing crab dishes this month as part of its popular Grande Seafood Buffet Dinner. Hosted at Orchid Café, the hotel's chefs will be creating various dishes with sustainable and locally-sourced blue crabs and soft-shell crabs. Five delectable Thai and international dishes can be cooked to order: Pu buang (steamed blue crab with spicy lime sauce), Pu nim phad pong karee (wok-fried soft shell crab with yellow curry), Pu Phad prik thai dum (stir-fried crab claw with black pepper sauce), Crab cake with tartar sauce, and Angel hair pasta with crab meat and tobiko. These specials  will be available alongside a wide selection of seafood on ice, including two types of oyster, a Japanese station featuring freshly-sliced sushi, sashimi and handmade tempura, a choice of Thai salads, soup of the day, smoked salmon, cold cuts, Thai and international dishes, authentic Italian pasta and grilled meats such as Australian prime rib of beef, premium lamb and pork. And of course, every meal can end on a sweet note with a choice of divine desserts, including mango sticky rice, crème brûlée, cakes, tropical fruits and more. Ventisi restaurant, at Centara Grand at CentralWorld, has introduced the flavours of South Tyrol, Italy, to diners with its “Südtirol Friday Night Buffet”. The weekly culinary event, throughout this month, is a celebration of the rich culture, culinary delights, and traditions of South Tyrol, also known as Südtirol, offering everyone a taste of authentic north Italian culinary traditions. South Tyrol’s Germanic heritage stems from its historical ties to the Austro-Hungarian Empire and has a predominantly German-speaking populace. Not surprisingly, South Tyrol embraces Oktoberfest as a nod to its cultural roots, blending Germanic and Italian influences in a unique celebration. Diners can indulge in a mouth-watering array of traditional dishes that capture the essence of the region. Asics SportStyle has launched the Gel-Kayano Legacy sneaker in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the series. Toshikazu Kayano started designing footwear at Asics in the late 80s before creating the namesake series in ’93. Since its inception, the trainer has been steeped in protection-focused technologies that mirror a stag beetle’s armour-like characteristics. The Rabanne H&M collaboration / H&M / Nov 9

Rabanne is H&M's latest high-fashion collaborator, following a special collection with Mugler in May. The Rabanne H&M collab fuses futuristic design with innovative craftsmanship, and draws on the iconic 60s creations of the house’s late founder Paco Rabanne, re-energised since 2013 by creative director Julien Dossena. Heattech 20th Anniversary / Uniqlo

Uniqlo marks the 20th anniversary of Heattech by introducing ultra-light fabric that can provide warmth during winter (or when the temperature stands slightly above 20C). First launched in 2003, the Heattech line celebrates its 20th anniversary and 1.5 billion pieces have sold with new designs and a new fabric. The holiday Heattech-infused collection in collab with French brand Princess tam tam will spruce up your winter with vibrant prints and colours and will be available from Nov 10 in stores and online
