SF Cinemas in collaboration with Live Nation Tero and the Embassy of Japan announced the opening of "Studio Ghibli Film Festival 2023 Presented With The World Of Studio Ghibli's Animation Exhibition Bangkok 2023", highlighting select masterpieces from the world-renowned Japanese animation house.
Organised at SF World Cinema at CentralWorld, the opening event had in attendance celebrities and Studio Ghibli fans including Jumpol "Off" Adulkittiporn, Atthaphan "Gun" Phunsawat and BNK48 artists.
Studio Ghibli Film Festival features screenings of new and legendary animated features at six SF Cinemas. Movies in the programme include Oscar-winning Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle In The Sky, Princess Mononoke and Porco Rosso.
The screenings will be available on Saturday and Sunday at SF World Cinema at CentralWorld and SF Cinema at MBK Center. Tickets are 150 baht.
Apart from Bangkok, additional screenings will also be at SFX Cinema Maya Chiangmai, SF Cinema Khon Kaen, SF Cinema at Central Chonburi and SFX Cinema at Central Phuket.
