This December, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon focuses on rebellious art for the festive season. In collaboration with Saran Yen Panya, the hotel will display witty, subversive installations that embody Bangkok’s contrasting feelings. From the giant Christmas tree on The Parlor terrace to Tease’s art-inspired afternoon tea, guests will explore beautiful chaos and happy accidents that define the city’s vibrancy. Celebrations peak with a New Year’s Eve countdown party at Sky Beach, starring London jazz-house artist Cody Currie.


December 1st, 2023-January 31st, 2024 Join the vibrant spirit of The Standard’s festive season with Saran Yen’s artful afternoon tea at Tease. Enjoy a variety of savoury and sweet treats, including Green Goddess Cone, Smoked Salmon Mousse, Foie Gras Roulade, and a Christmas Club sandwich, plus Spiced and Orange Scone, Chintzy Box, and Mandarin, Italian basil, and hazelnut Silky Pop. Available daily from 1 pm-6 pm for THB 980++ per person.


Christmas Eve: December 24th, 2023 The Standard Grill offers a fourcourse Christmas Eve dinner for THB 3,200++ per person, with optional wine pairing for an additional THB 1,200++. 

The menu features foie gras terrine on sourdough toast, sautéed Hokkaido scallop, turducken, and spiced pumpkin and pecan pie. Available from 5:30 pm until 10:30 pm.

Christmas Day: December 25th, 2023

Enjoy a family-style set menu from noon till 2:30 pm for THB 2,800++ per person, with a two-hour unlimited beverage option for THB 1,200++. The menu includes a seafood crudo bar, charcuterie, lobster bisque, and tableside carving of roast meats. Traditional sides and Christmas pudding complete the meal. 

New Year’s Eve: December 31st, 2023

The Standard Grill’s New Year’s Eve six-course dinner starts with a variety of appetizers, followed by tiger prawn and turbot delice with saffron-orange butter and asparagus, sautéed foie gras with Jerusalem artichoke and blackberries, and a choice between charcoal-grilled Canadian lobster and USDA prime tenderloin with foie gras beignets and globe artichoke. The two lavish desserts — “Roasted Night” and “Winter Delight” — feature a blend of spices, coffee, rosemary, and peppermint. Dinner is available from 5:30 pm till 10:30 pm. Prices start from THB 3,900++ per person, including a glass of cava (optional wine pairing available for an extra THB 1,800++). 

New Year’s Day Brunch: 

January 1st, 2024 On January 1st, The Standard Grill will offer an unlimited à la carte brunch with dishes ranging from S’mores French Toast and waffles to charcoal-grilled Amelia Park lamb cutlets and Copper-Tree Farms dry-aged bone-in ribeye. Desserts include chocolate tart, vanilla choux, and strawberry shortcake. The brunch, running from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm, is priced at THB 1,200++ per person.


Christmas Eve: December 24th, 2023 & Christmas Day: December 25th, 2023 Celebrate with a Mexican twist, featuring a four-course menu with seafood tostada, fried quesadilla, truffle beef short rib birria, crispy Iberico pork, mextlapique fish, and coconut tamal. Priced at THB 3,600++ per person (THB 990++ for kids), the menu is available for dinner on Christmas Eve and lunch and dinner on Christmas Day. 

New Year’s Eve: December 31st, 2023 New Year’s Eve at Ojo promises a unique experience with a menu featuring truffle creamy esquites, Wagyu ribeye carne asada, lobster sea urchin, mole brownie, praline almond, and banana ice cream. The first outdoor seating (4:30 pm-6:30 pm) offers small plates and festive drinks for THB 3,000++ per person. Indoor dining from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm includes a fourcourse set menu and a glass of Champagne for THB 8,000++ per person. The second outdoor seating (9:00 pm till late) includes savoury bites, free-flow cocktails, and a glass of Champagne at midnight for THB 8,000++ per person. Indoor dining from 8.30 pm features a six-course dinner, half a bottle of Champagne, free-flow cocktails, and Sky Beach countdown access for THB 30,000++ per person.


For a show-stopping New Year’s Eve party at the highest rooftop bar in Bangkok, Sky Beach is setting the stage for world-famous DJ Cody Currie who will be taking turns at the decks with Secretsundaze in an exciting back-toback alongside Seelie from 9:00 pm till 2:00 am. General admission to Sky Beach with a three-hour open bar of selected cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks and juices is THB 9,500 net per person, while peak admission with premium three-hour open bar and reserved seating is THB 18,000 net per person.


December 1st, 2023-January 31st, 2024 Mott 32 offers a festive a la carte menu with dishes like whole crispy abalone with salted egg; Alaskan king crab cooked three ways; deep-fried whole pigeon; succulent braised duck with tangy plum sauce. Available for both lunch and dinner, prices start from THB 680++.
