Ikea Sukhumvit, the fourth store in Thailand, is now open on the 3rd floor of the new Emsphere shopping mall.

With its debut as the first "city-centre store" in Southeast Asia and the largest home furnishing store in Bangkok, Ikea Sukhumvit covers an area of 12,000m², offers easy accessibility to city dwellers and exposes them to the Ikea-style shopping experience.

Aligned with Ikea's vision to create a better everyday life for people, this new store is poised to meet the diverse needs and lifestyles of an urban population with comprehensive house furnishing solutions, boasting over 8,254 products with more than 4,000 available for cash & carry. It also creates employment opportunities, grounded in inclusion and diversity, for a team of over 180 individuals.

In addition to Ikea's dedication to promoting sustainable development in local communities, the first city-centre store in Thailand revolutionises the retail industry by taking a seamless combination of online and offline shopping experiences to another level and providing services that reflect the circular economy concept even further.

Leonie Hoskin of Ikea Thailand and Vietnam said: "The Ikea city store concept was introduced in 2017 and represents a pivotal global growth strategy for the company. Ikea Sukhumvit, the first city store in Southeast Asia and the largest home furnishing store in Bangkok, is poised to offer convenience for both Thai residents and foreigners residing in the city centre. It is easily accessible, and customers can enjoy the comprehensive Ikea-style shopping experience, whether it is in the Showroom, Market Hall, Self-serve warehouse, Ikea Restaurant or Swedish Food Market. We feel truly excited to continue our 12 years of success in Thailand by bringing our brand closer to those living in the city, enhancing online and offline shopping experiences, offering additional services to meet specific urban lifestyles, and fostering development in local communities."
