Hundreds of hospitality, restaurant and catering brands will unveil the latest products and industry trends at "Thaifex -- Horec Asia 2024" which will take place at Impact Hall 9-12, Muang Thong Thani, from March 6-8, daily from 10am to 6pm.
Held for the first time by the Department of International Trade Promotion, the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Koelnmesse, the trade show is an opportunity for business owners and hospitality industry professionals from hotels, restaurants and catering (HoReCa) in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar to learn how to take their business to the next level.
More than 300 companies from 24 countries will exhibit the latest solutions across nine categories -- Dining, Cafe and Bar, Bakery and Ice Cream, Kitchen, Cleaning and Laundry, Furnishing, Services, Technology and Wellness.
The event will showcase how these brands are meeting the industry's evolving demands for contactless and sustainable solutions, enhancing the digital guest experience, optimising energy efficiency, embracing plant-based menus and implementing strategies to reduce food waste.
Also featured will be intelligent technologies that cater to the region's rapidly growing food service and hospitality industry, such as eco-friendly packaging crafted from upcycled food by-products, energy-efficient appliances that integrate with AI and the latest digital systems created for the unique needs of the hospitality sector.
The three days will also be packed with a line-up of exciting programmes. Besides the innovative products showcase at the "Thaifex -- Horec Xperiential Zone", prepare to witness the best baristas in the region compete for the top spot at the Asean Barista Team Championship.
At the Thailand Ultimate Housekeeping Challenge, skilled Thai hotel housekeepers will vie for the coveted Housekeeping Champion title. The competition has four classes -- bed-making, flower arrangement, towel folding and speed cleaning.
Another highlight will be "Thaifex -- Horec Academy" which allows participants to gain insight into this dynamic field through engaging forums and discussions with industry experts, as well as culinary demos and live workshops by the likes of Le Cordon Bleu Dusit, Lenôtre School of Culinary Arts, The Food School and Bangkok Ranch.
