The Women In Hospitality 2024 (WIH 2024) event will be held from Feb 29 to March 8, at the Banyan Tree Bangkok.

The food and beverage forum is being held with a charitable spirit to support women and inspire inclusion, with 3% of the event’s revenue being donated to the Halfway Home For Women Foundation. The event features masterclasses, bartender takeovers and an exclusive chef's table collaboration. 

It brings together an array of acclaimed female food and beverage personalities from Thailand and beyond, dedicated to promoting and empowering women in food, beverage and hospitality. Highlighting the WIH 2024 experience is an eight-hand dinner aboard the Saffron Cruise, as it sails down Chao Phraya River on March 7.

Diners will indulge in a culinary spectacle with “8-Hand Women In Gastronomy”, crafted by chefs Saki Hoshino of Bangkok's Nawa; Jutamas "Som" Theantae of Som’s Table in Hua Hin; Yodying “Sasha" Phoomcharoen from Bangkok's Hybrid Restaurant, and Renu Homsombat from Saffron Signature Thai Restaurant in Bangkok. The dinner will be paired with a sake selection by Naoko Saito from Bangkok Beer and Beverages.

In addition to the culinary aspect, WIH 2024 will also hold the “Women In Mixology”.  On Feb 29, India’s first female bartender, Shatbi Basu will hold the “Spirit Of Asia” masterclass at the hotel, while on March 1, she will showcase her innovative creations at Moon Bar.

On March 2, join the “Penfolds Takeover At Vertigo Too”, being held under the theme of “Venture Beyond With Underwater World” night featuring the finest wine selection, canapés and a DJ.

March 3 will see Jameson brand ambassador Chadchayaphat “Moa” Hirunkaewphinit, whose journey has evolved from bar manager into brand representative, bringing her blend of expertise to connect more diverse circles at the “Jameson Takeover With Moa Chadcha”. 

On March 4, the “EcoSpirits Takeover With Nam Saowanee” will see Phuket-based Nam, who specialises in infusing locally crafted spirits with Thai herbs, showcase her  distinctive flavoured mixes.

On March 5, the founder of unDer lab in Taiwan, Pei Liu will showcase her experimental and imaginative drinks at the “Giffard Takeover With Pei Liu And Green Liu”. 

On March 6, the “Tanqueray Takeover With Aly Lorenzo At Moon Bar” will see Xi By Cafe Guilt’s head mixologist serve her exceptional cocktails. A seasoned bartender from the Philippines, Lorenzo was the first Filipina to clinch the title of “Philippine World Class Bartender of the Year 2023” at the Diageo World Class Competition.

On March 8, the “Monkey Shoulder Takeover With Melody Joy Lim”, will see Lim’s creations from the Baccarat Room and Bar in Solaire Resort, Philippines.
