Oenophiles should mark their calendars for "Pet Nat Palooza", which is scheduled for Friday to Sunday.
Organised by Wine Garage, an advocate for low-intervention wines, in collaboration with a dedicated assortment of some of the best and brightest venues in Bangkok's bustling food and beverage scene, this is a festival of natural wine delights, all focused on the lovely, friendly and vinous bubbly coined "Petillant Naturel".
Sometimes clear, and often hazy, this super approachable style of natural sparkling wine will be on display at six participating venues throughout the weekend.
They include Mod Kaew Wine Bar on Sathon 12; Soho House on Sukhumvit 31; Quince at Siri House on Soi Somkid, Phloenchit Road; Earth House on Sukhumvit 53; Na Café (Bar Na) on Nakhon Sawan Road; and Paradise Lost at Siam@Siam Design Hotel on Rama I Road.
A different set of five labels are placed at each outlet by the glass and bottle, with each possibly offering local DJ tunes, special dishes and celebrations to further the fun.
