Multi-platinum Grammy Award-nominated phenomenon JP Saxe will be flown into the Kingdom to serenade Thai fans with his soulful voice at Lido Connect Hall 3, Rama I Road, on May 25 at 7pm.
Presented by Live Nation Tero, the concert is part of A Grey Area world tour to promote the Canadian artist's second album A Grey Area, which was released last September.
After dedicating his life to music in middle school, the DC-born, Toronto raised and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist captivated audiences with If The World Was Ending, a duet with American singer Julia Michaels, in 2019.
The song received critical acclaim and became a commercial success, earning Saxe his first Grammy nomination for Song of the Year in 2021. Streamed over a billion times and certified double-platinum in the US and six times platinum in Canada, it paved the way for his full-length debut Dangerous Levels Of Introspection in 2021.
The album included hits such as A Little Bit Yours, Line By Line featuring Maren Morris, and Here's Hopin with John Mayer, earning rave reviews from People, Entertainment Weekly, American Songwriter and more.
Saxe's music is characterised by its heartfelt lyrics and emotive vocals which often explore themes of love, relationships, and personal growth. He has released several EPs and singles, building a loyal fan base with his introspective and relatable songwriting.
His world tour includes stops in seven Asian cities next month starting with Kuala Lumpur, then Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok, Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul.
Tickets for the Bangkok show cost 1,800, 2,500 and 3,200 baht and can be purchased from Thai Ticket Major outlets (visit thaiticketmajor.com).
